Offering prospects a free (insert the service you offer, here) evaluation to get your foot in the door is a bad sales strategy.
I say bad because it might work for you, but not your customer. And isn’t the sole purpose of going into business so you can provide a win-win value system?
Analogy: Accepting a free evaluation is like taking your car to the mechanic just so you can spend money (i.e. mechanics can always find something wrong with your car).
