Learning to Listen and Change
I spoke with a customer about some ways to grow his business and get involved with his customers – to build a community. Possibilities like a blog, social network, or forum appear to be his best options. His main objection to using a blog was that a disgruntled customer could leave a negative comment.
Personally, I would be thrilled if a customer leaves a negative comment on my blog rather than any other place online. By providing a place for your customers to talk openly, you have the opportunity to turn an angry customer into a satisfied one.
But, this only works if you are willing to listen and change.
